Thursday night, Brook had a school concert. We missed her Winter Concert but with Jake working graveyard now, we knew we would be able to get to this one...although we almost missed it because of traffic - and we had her outfit! The theme was 50's and the decorations were so cute. The class before Brook's did a dance montage with songs by Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, NSYNC, etc. It was hilarious. I bet none of the kids even knew what they were dancing to, but all the parents were cracking up.
Brook was in the top row and the teacher was standing right in front of her, so it was tough to get pictures. Also, I would try to take a picture and the flash delay would miss the shot I wanted to get. By the end, I was getting better! It was so cute to see her sing. But by the middle of the first song, she was already bored and looking around! She is so out!
They sang "Lollipop" and "Teddy Bear" by Elvis. Most of the kids had props, but we didn't know she was supposed to bring anything. She had a little dum-dum sucker and the girl to her left had a huge lollipop that you get at amusement parks. It was hilarious.
Brooklynn and Brandon...I found his phone number in her desk! They were both blushing!
