Today was quite the day...Zach dropped Keeley off about 1pm and stayed until almost 3pm! Then, my cousin Jeff and his family came by about 2pm. It was so great to see Jeff again. We hooked up with him a few months ago and met his daughter Janessa, who is almost 3. Today we also got to meet his wife Geraldine and son Garrett, who is autistic and just a couple months younger than Keeley. It was a blast. Right when they showed up, I left the room to look for something Janessa left behind last time and no one introduced Zach...Poor Geraldine didn't know which guy was my husband! Very, very interesting!!!
The guys made a lot more progress on the floor today. They did the longest strip, all the way from the front door to the back door as well as almost all the living room / dining room and into the kitchen and family room. Jake can probably do the rest of the family room in just a few hours some evening when he has time. Just having the carpets down makes SUCH a difference. The girls' rooms are almost all put together and our bedroom is the catch all. But, I love being able to be barefoot in my bedroom instead of having to wear flip flops all the time!
